Celebrating 10 Years: 10 Things We Love About Serving the Church

Ten years ago, in 2012, Vision2 launched a new kind of online giving solution for churches. That milestone makes us introspective about our work with churches, so in honor of our 10th anniversary, here are some thoughts our team wants to share with you:

1. It’s an honor to know and serve inspiring individuals who have committed their lives to changing the world.

“It’s cool to talk to our prospective clients about their lives. For example, one woman who worked for the church was building a nonprofit for kids in her spare time! It’s inspiring to me to meet people whose service is not just their job, but also their lifestyle.”

6. Helping the church is helping the world!

“One of my favorite scripture passages is 1 Corinthians 12:12-27 where we learn that we are all part of the body of Christ.

As the body of Christ, we are commanded to love one another and care for those in need. It takes all of us together, serving in many different roles and ways, to meet the needs of this hurting world.

The Vision2 team’s passion for equipping the church to serve the world is what drew me here. The way Vision2 operates aligns with my standard of ethics. Even better, I get to combine my need to earn a living with my desire to serve the church that is reaching the world. That’s pretty awesome to me!

7. Our work has an eternal perspective.

8. Sharing a mutual goal (i.e. serving your givers) means that when you fulfill your mission, we’re fulfilling ours.
